Job Description

Company Description Elizabeth Lamont is a full-service luxury boutique residential interior design firm and lifestyle shop that blends high design with California’s relaxed indoor/outdoor way of life. The team creates beautiful, functional spaces that feel timeless yet fresh, balancing natural beauty with refined interiors. The studio manages projects from concept through completion, while the retail shop offers a curated selection of home décor, luxury bedding, custom rugs, and furniture to support client styling needs. Known for a casual-but-refined California aesthetic, the firm designs homes that reflect each client’s unique style, from celebrity residences to intimate beach cottages across the United States, Hawaii, and the Bahamas. Long-term, valued relationships with clients are at the core of the firm’s success and culture. The role also involves site visits, coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors, and participation in installations to ensure design intent is realized. The Interior Designer will contribute to maintaining the firm’s design standards while supporting a smooth, high-touch client experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential environments. Candidates should possess foundational Architecture knowledge and the ability to interpret and collaborate on built-environment concepts. Candidates should possess proficiency in creating and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical documentation. Candidates should possess experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furnishings, and accessories. Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines are important. Experience with high-end residential design, vendor coordination, and onsite project work is a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members, and to work in a hybrid office/home setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
