VENUE/PROPERTY INFO Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is consistently ranked as the #1 entertainment venue in the state. Our venue boasts a full calendar of events including concerts, comedy shows, family shows, sporting events, banquets, conventions, trade shows, meetings, and more. With the attached Convention Center and Arena, we are the largest venue between Omaha and Fargo, and from Minneapolis to Denver. THE ROLE A camera operator is responsible for setting up, operating and tearing down camera equipment for scoreboard video production. ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Setup camera equipment before events. Operate camera under direction of Sr. Video Operator. Responsible for returning equipment to storage as directed. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 1-2 years of related experience and/or training SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills Good written and verbal skills Demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic Ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all levels of staff including management Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays WORKING CONDITIONS Location: On Site – Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, SD PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to work both indoors and outdoors as required by the function. Must have the physical ability to maneuver around facility, and at times, walking and/or standing for up to 8-10 hours daily.
